Spring Season
High School Program
The high school program is for 9- 12th students. Rowing teams compete scholastically during the spring season, as such all registrants must be Shenendehowa High School students.
The spring scholastic rowing season offers shorter distances races with a focus speed. During the spring season we will participate in both local and national level Scholastic regattas during April and May, with some travel required.
Full Season: March 2- June 5
Monday - Friday*
3 - 6 p.m.
*The spring season will begin indoors at Koda (5 days per week/ M-F). The team will transition to the Mohawk Boathouse as soon as the docks are in and the river and weather conditions are safe. Anticipated date to return to on water training is ~March 23 (TBD, weather depending).
Saturday morning practices are anticipated for select HS athletes for late March and April. More information will be made available once docks are in.

Fee for season: $1,150*
*Fee includes tuition and regatta fees. Transportation to practice will be via carpool (schedule will be created as Spring season approaches and parents’ help will be requested for the carpool to be a success). Travel expenses to away regattas are at athlete’s expense.
You can pay in full now. You can also pay over time in 3 equal payments (the 1st payment is due today, the 2nd is due by March 31st, and the 3rd is due by April 30th.
Spring Season
Middle School Program
The middle school program is for 7-8th grade students. Students are required to attend Shenendehowa Middle School to participate in the spring season.
Whether you are just starting in the sport or returning for a second year, middle school athletes will focus on great technique and team work to gain strength, perseverance and passion for the sport of rowing.
In addition to “Mod” Championships for all middle school rowers tentatively scheduled for June 6, the Saratoga Invite (April 25-26) and NYS Championships (May 9-10) will offer competitive and team-building opportunities for our experienced 8th grade rowers.
Full Season: March 9- June 6* (tentative)

3:35 - 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Friday

*No practice, April 3-10.
April 1 (tentative)- June 6- If weather and river conditions are safe, the middle school team will transfer to the boathouse to begin the on-water training.
7th grade: 4-6:15 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Friday
8th grade: 4-6:15 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday

We are pleased to offer transportation from the Shenendehowa Campus to the boathouse utilizing Shen bussing for modified athletes. Additional information will be provided to members upon registration.

Spirit of D’raven Rodriguez Rower’s Assistance Fund
Scholarships are available to athletes who would otherwise be deterred from participating in this sport. Since the inception of the scholarship fund, more than $10,000 has been distributed to athletes, helping them overcome economic barriers to participation in this sport.
